Are the
Camit 1 + GSM images in black & white or colour?
The images are transmitted in color. Camit 1 + GSM has a built in color camera.
Not only can you choose the number of pictures to be transmitted, but you can also choose the size of pictures: 640 x 480, 320 x 240 or 160 x 120. |

Can I both hear
and see what is happening at the camera site?

Do I need a
separate phone line for the Camit 1 + GSM or can I use the main phone line?
Good News! You can use the main phone line or you can use a separate/dedicated phone line. You can set the number of rings at which Camit 1 + GSM will answer so as to avoid conflicts with answer phones and fax machines. Depending on how "busy" your main phone line is, or how important the surveillance task is, it may be sensible to use Camit 1 + GSM on a dedicated line.
Another option would be to go with an external GSM modem and let the camera use the GSM network for wireless telephone transmission to your receiving PC. |

Will my children
or employees know when I’m watching from another location?
Not if you use a separate phone line. The camera has no LED light and can be easily hidden. |

Camit 1 + GSM can be used around the world so long as a standard phone line is available or a GSM network is available should you choose to use an optional GSM modem connection.
Distance does not affect the image quality. |

Do the
transmitted images look like a movie?
The images do not like a movie. They are JPEG images (snapshots)and can be regulary resfreshed. Indicating transmission speeds are: High Resolution (640x480): maximum 1.6 frames/second, Medium Resolution (320x240): maximum 3 frames/second. and Low Resolution (160x120): maximum 5 frames/second |
